Hey what's up Jamie? What are you up too?

Not much, just taking a mellow Monday and skating Cherry Park with the homies.

Dope, that park's rad! So Deathwish just announced you as their newest AM, how does that feel? Being on such an iconic team and what not.

Yeah it's such a crazy feeling honestly. I grew up watching a lot of Baker/Deathwish videos so now that I can be a part of that I'm super stoked. Such great guys to be around and amazing to watch skate as always.

Who was your favorite Baker/Deathwish rider when you were growing up?

Man it's such a hard one to choose honestly but I always loved watching Bryan Herman skate. He would get lines that looked so effortless yet still jump off big sets and skate big handrails. Always kept my attention.

Me too. All those lines from Baker Has A Deathwish were so sick! So who on the team have you been hitting the streets with the most?

Yeah exactly! (laughs) It's kinda hard sometimes to get everyone together and skate but we manage to sometimes and those sessions are always the best, but a good amount of time I'll go skating with Neen Williams because he's always down to huck it!

That front feeble in your welcome to the team ad was fucked up! Did you have to battle that for a while or you put her down in a couple of tries?

(Laughs) Thanks! I actually got it in about 10 tries. I was pretty surprised because that was the first kinker in the streets that I've ever tried it on.

Damn that's buck! You got any pre-session routines before you go skate? Like do you Rocky Balboa a few raw eggs before skating? What's your secret?

(laughs) Nah not really. I just usually have bacon, eggs and toast in the morning and then get the day started. I try to stretch before I skate but I forget to even do that sometimes.

You got any New Year resolutions for 2017?

Skate more sets and gaps...even though my body won't really thank me for that one (laughs).

It never does. How was being handcuffed to Lizard King for King Of The Road?

That was awesome! We had to do some tricks like that so that was very interesting but overall I think by the end Lizard was more over it than I was (laughs).

Who would have thought! Anything else crazy happen on the trip? You think you guys won?

Yeah a lot of wild shit went down but sadly we all got to wait a while to see it. I have no idea, I know that we did good but I know that the other teams did too so for me its way too close to call.

For sure. If you weren't skating where would you be right now?

Probably 100lbs heavier stuck in Florida, fishing and going to college.

What's better in Florida than in California?

I'd say the only thing is the ocean. In Florida the water is so warm, here it's freezing to me.

I feel that, I don't fuck with this cold ocean either. What's your current skateboard set up?

I ride a size 8.5 Full Deathwish shape with 151 RAW Thunders and usually size 54 Spitfire Formula Fours, the radial shape and of course some Shake Junt Grip to top it off.
