Ronnie Sandoval

Ronnie Sandoval grew up in San Pedro, California. A local at the famous Channel Street Skatepark; his skateboarding is raw and gnarly. Ronnie has said Peter Hewitt was a huge inspiration to his skateboarding, at one time messaging him on how to do inverts. Ronnie started to pick up steam in his early teens with a sponsorship from Transitions Skateshop. Soon after, Ronnie got on some flow programs with Almost, OJ and DVS. With the help of his friend Robbie Russo, Sandoval started to get hooked up with Krooked Skateboards. A short time later, other major sponsors followed; Vans, Dickies, Spitfire. While filming for the Vans video 'Take It Back', Ronnie was sidelined with a horrible knee injury. This only lit a fire; once healed Ronnie came back stronger than ever. Blessed with the last part in Vans' 'Take It Back', his place in skateboarding was cemented. Ronnie has since had countless pro model decks and wheels, signature apparel lines, pro colorway shoes, and much more. Ronnie is a lifer, expect more from him in the future.
