Mark Gonzales
Mark Gonzales, sometimes referred to as, 'The Gonz", is a certified skateboarding legend. After a short stint on Vision Skateboards; Gonz went on to start the famous Blind Skateboards brand, the name being a dig at his former sponsor. His part and contribution to Blind's "Video Days" have had a lasting impression on modern skateboarding, introducing us to future legends like Guy Mariano. While not known for traditional contest wins, Gonz did win his first street contest back in 1985. He ollied the "Gonz Gap" at The Embarcadero in San Francisco, a feat unheard of at the time. While legends like Tony Hawk have captured mainstream recognition with his vert skills, Gonz has had an equal impact on street skateboarding worldwide. Mark's art continues to be used in skateboard graphics and apparel. His brand Krooked Skateboards also continues to produce top level pros.
