Frank Gerwer
Born on September 30, 1974, in a little-known hamlet on Long Island, NY, called Hicksville, Frank Gerwer started skating at the age of 13 and never looked back. Gerwer honed his skills in the rough streets of the East Coast, but in 1998 he moved to California to immerse himself in the heart of the skateboarding world. He became a standout figure with his bold approach to skating and was featured in iconic videos like World Wide Distribution, multiple 411VM videos, and numerous magazine appearances. His gritty and unrefined style perfectly aligned with the ethos of Anti-Hero Skateboards, which he joined in 1999, turned pro for in 2002, and still rides for today. Gerwer is truly a skaterŐs skater, a master of skate trip memories, the brains behind the anomaly known as Grimplestix, and just an all around staple in the world of skateboarding.
